Black and White

There is a certain elegance associated with black and white photography. The pioneering artists who established picture taking as an artform did not have access to color film. They used the starkness of black , white and limiting hues of gray to display the world we are familiar with in a completely novel manner. When shooting black and white, we're able to focus purely on composition, creating an image we hope to be striking, iconic and memorable.
